Out of the box review

Assembly went ok.
Directions were clear.
Nuts and bolts 8.8 grade.
It appears all the hardware is metric based (12 and 13mm wrenches and sockets needed for assembly).
No parts were missing.
All other bolts from the factory were adequately tightened out of the box.

There are a few head scratchers.:
The dipstick is behind the branch grinder chute and has very awkward access. This requires removing the branch grinder chute to fill the oil.
The dipstick was cross threaded on arrival, and fixed with a triangle file.
The throttle, choke and fuel tank levers need better labeling (On/Off)

A block off plate for the grinder side would be useful as this machine is being solely used for a leaf vacuum.

I wish the swivel wheels were on the front for better maneuverability. It is difficult to raise the front end over lawn undulations or bumps.

It does not shred wet/damp oak leaves well enough to use as mulch.

Good quality machine

So far this has been a real work saver for me. It appears to be built well. I have owned many different kinds of machinery built in the PRC, and this obviously has robotic welds and high-quality coating. The engine is a GX clone and starts on the first pull. Like many of these machines, it is very difficult to push over uneven lawn surfaces. Pulling it is more efficient. Emptying the bag is easy with a suitable fabric waste bin I found on Amazon. With wet leaves I found it necessary to add a wood gasket between the pump and the discharge chute, otherwise the dirty water was flooding over the hot engine. I also added an aluminum plate where the chipping hopper attachment goes since I am not using this to chip and the added suction was noticeable. Last, I ordered a hose adaptor and 12 foot x 6 inch hose to replace the snout for more efficient hose vacuuming. The leaves are chopped up well and go right to the compost bin. Overall, a nice machine that doesn't take up a huge amount of room in the garage.
