Good for small yards

The chipper is going to be helpful, but is is quite time consuming. It often gets clogged even though I am feeding branches below 3 inches. The branches have to be quite straight for it to run smoothly. And the bag gets full quickly which means you are constantly having to stop to empty. I wish I could dump the chips directly into a barrel cart, but the spit is too low, so the chips either go in the ground or in the bag. But it is powerful and does an amazing job with the chips!

Nice 3&1 wood chipper

I purchased this on a black Friday sale! The reviews are mixed, but most of them end with what ever problem fixed. I received mine two days after ordering. Assembling was easy and only took about 15 minutes. I did take a few minutes looking over and making sure all pre-assembled nuts and bolts where tight! I put over 40 hours of work in with it so far and haven't had any issues. The larger branches, around the 3inch mark I slow fed and it chewed right thru them and spit out chips with no problem. I mulched up all the leaves including the wet ones with out issue. I have posted a picture of a pile of mulched leaves ran through my 3&1 and a pile ran through my lawn mower. Hands down this little chipper is the winner. Mulching the leaves into smaller pieces that I can till into my garden as well as add some to my worm farm and compost pile. So far I'm extremely impressed and will update later after I've put a few more weeks of work thru it. As it stands for now I recommend this be the chipper anyone needing a 3&1. For the price, top shelf machine.
