Which battery is compatible with the SuperHandy Capstan Winch?
The Capstan Winch is compatible with our 48V 2Ah Li-Ion battery only. Please note, it is not compatible with the 48V 4Ah Li-Ion battery.
What is the maximum load and rope length for the Capstan Winch?
The SuperHandy Capstan Winch has a load rating of 1,000 lbs without a block & tackle pulley system, and 2,000 lbs if you double up the rope. If you add a block & tackle pulley system (not included), the pulling load can effectively be doubled, depending on proper setup. The winch is also designed for use with ropes up to 100' for optimal performance.
